Coco Chanel Magazine project

Photograph of Coco Chanel

Coco Chanel was a high fashion designer so I  though placing her in a Paris  setting was fitting. The opera house also touches on Chanel being high end.

My final product

My illustrator was Cole Phillips. He was known for illustrating women in a way known as the fade away girls. He would take a part of the girl illustration, usually the dress, and matching the color to the background so the girl fades away. He used lots of flat color; the only areas he defines are parts of the women herself.
